The biggest life hack and self love practice I would say when facing the above scanerios, that can massively transform your life is… breathing exercises! ๐๐พ (I see you rolling your eyes but hold up for just a moment ๐๐ )
Science backs up the power of breathing exercises to;

โ reduce the ‘noise’ of our brain

This may be simply focusing on your breath for 2 mins when you wake up or a guided mindfulness mediation session following an app – whatever it is big or small, the effects are instant and life changing.
For those who say they don’t have time, even a couple a minutes to spare, I would suggest incorporating breathing exercises into your daily activities just to trail the benefits. Try it during your morning commute, in a traffic jam or when you’re waiting in a queue.
The 4-7-8 technique by Dr Weil is a simple breathing practice to start of with. You inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7 and exhale for 8.
Alternatively downlaod an app like Headspace or Calm and choose a range of guided mediations.
Now these practices and wisdom have been around for centuries – look at monks and the importance of mediation in so many religions. Nothing new but so relevant in todays busy world. Give it a go ๐๐พ
