His message really resonates with me. If stress is the epidemic of the 21st century, investing in our coping mechanisms and developing emotional resilience becomes paramount.
The talk led to some really interesting conversations on what it means to be a women in dentistry – sharing experiences of fear, vulnerability, imposter syndrome, not feeling good enough and the journey to feeling empowered. Self care is so important that the little reminders, such a daily dose of stillness, can make all the difference from feeling captive to stress to feeling energised.
I would love to see the use of breathing exercises more at work, and even before shit hits the pan! A cool way of creating calm, focus and energy ✌🏾 Who is with me?
